There are certainly side effects of marriage. It’s a strange institution which makes us dream all kinds of rosy things but when we are actually living that life, then we get to know, what we expected from it, may not be something that we are actually getting. 1. Expectation: She would keep the house spick clean.

Reality: The huge pile of clothes on the bed, including her UGs everyday, when she tries to find ‘something wearable’ for the day, certainly wasn’t what you expected.

2. Expectation: You will get to eat wonderful meals each day. It will be South Indian for breakfasts, Punjabi for dinner and World cuisine for weekends!

Reality: Daal chawal is your staple now. And when you express desire to have a something different, she is as excited as you are, cuz now you’ll be headed to the top restaurant in he city.

 

3. Expectation: You will never have to search for your socks and and glasses now. She will take care of all your knick knacks.

Reality: You know better now. You have to save your belongings to get lost in the sea of her accessories.

4. Expectation: She will be like a daughter to your parents, taking care of them.

Reality: Of course she is like a daughter to them but only when you to visit your parents. Never when they decide to visit you!

5. Expectation: She will make you comfy and get you a hot cup of tea, as soon as you arrive home, tired from work.

Reality: She will be busy chatting with her mom on phone, and you will have to make the tea for the both of you.

6. Expectation: You will enjoy your football uninterrupted when At least she will be busy in the kitchen.

Reality: Nope. Her favourite saas bahu serial will be on, at the loudest, so that, even in the kitchen, she can listen to the vamp conspire to seize the poor heroine’s hubby!

7. Expectation: You will have lovely romantic nights.

Reality: She is of course tired from the day’s work! Don’t you get it?!!
